On April 2nd, 2021 we lost one of the brightest lights in a tragic accident. To say the least Jacob Schleinz was a brilliant and talented 20 year old. His life showed great promise as he was an exceptional student with high ambition.

He touched the lives of so many people. Jacob was a Junior at Indiana University studying Finance. He was in the Kelley School of business and a member of the Sigma Chi fraternity. He was a very involved member of Indiana University Dance Marathon (IUDM), Kids for CASA, and the Drop the Puck on Cancer hockey event.

Hockey was his passion, as it was a major part of his life for so many years. He played at the Chicago Fury AAA, the Milwaukee Jr. Admirals, and the Chicago Mission AAA.

The world is now a quieter place without Jacob Schleinz. If you had the opportunity to know him, there is a very good chance he made you smile and laugh countless times. He never failed to put a smile on your face and his contagious positive energy will not be forgotten.

The name Jacob Schleinz name will never be forgotten. He left far too many memories for someone only 20 years young. Everyone has their favorite story of him, and what a beautiful story he wrote for us. He was a great man, even a better friend, a son, and a brother.

We set up this fund for the memorial scholarship to honor Jacob and his name. We are asking you to donate whatever you can to help us honor him. Thank you for your love and support of our brother.
